Senior Equine Surgeon (f/m/d)

The colleague will be responsible for general and special equine surgery of orthopaedic and emergency patients. The candidate should like to train and supervise our young and motivated team. She / he should play part in the further development of the clinic with the possibility to set own priorities.

The successful candidate will provide advanced surgical expertise. Independent work is assumed. Board certification ECVS / ACVS in surgery is welcome but not mandatory. You are a team player and used to take on responsibility. Participation in regular emergency duties as background surgeon including nights and weekends are expected.

Requirements for this position are eligibility to practice in Germany. German language skills on the level of B2 are mandatory to get the German approbation.

The leader as well as the veterinarians and employees on site support you if necessary. Training to become a veterinary specialist (“Fachtierarzt”) is made possible. Other colleagues in other practices and clinics are also available for a professional and personal exchange. Here you can develop your own ideas, set standards and turn the clinic into a regional competence center. With an unsparing examination and treatment zone, two operating rooms, laboratory, almost 30 boxes and lunging hall, the clinic offers the ideal basis for implementing your long-term plans.
